We have recovered the licence using Belarc Advisor but when trying to install it, it fails saying that is not a valid key.
Do we need to install the Italian version or English should work? Also, we need to unload the licence from the old computer somehow before installing it in the new one?

So if you have the DVD, why is that an issue. Lots of links on how to do that on the web. Or you can just create a setup folder and then copy the contents of the DVD to the computer and then run the setup program off the computer, to install it.
One thing you might run into as I have is getting a message that you have to go to Adobe and download some software to install it, which of course is not available any longer. If that happens, then go to the programs and features link in the control panel and remove any Adobe Flash web browser plugin software.
Apparently Adobe added some code the Flash software to discourage users from installing their older applications. Can reinstall them later if needed. The electronic downloads above work. The updater has never worked to auto-install the updates through 9. We had a hard drive die last week on the last installed version and when I went to that link that took almost 2 weeks to find the last time with the help of adobe support, the page was permanently deleted.
